The service
LearnAlbanian provides private, one-on-one online Albanian lessons of 45 minutes on Google Meet with certified teachers. Lessons recur weekly at the times you choose. These terms apply to every student and, for children, to the parent or guardian who books.
Free assessment
Your first hour is a free assessment. No card is needed and nothing is owed if you decide not to continue.
Price and billing
- Lessons cost €19 each. There is no package, deposit, contract or minimum.
- At the start of each month we invoice the lessons that took place in the previous month, payable by card through Stripe. You can pay in EUR, USD, CAD or GBP; conversion is at Stripe’s rate on the day.
- If a payment fails we retry and email you. Lessons may be paused until the invoice is settled.
Rescheduling, cancellation and no-shows
- You can reschedule any lesson from your account or by telling us, at no cost, as long as you do so before the lesson starts.
- If you do not join within 15 minutes of the start and have not rescheduled or told us, the lesson counts as taken and is charged in full.
- If your teacher misses a lesson, it is not charged and we rebook it.
- You can stop at any time. We invoice only lessons that took place.
Recordings and child safety
Lessons are recorded. Parents can watch recordings of their child’s lessons from their account. Recordings are kept for 12 months (see the Privacy policy). All teachers hold a clear criminal record check and a degree in Albanian language and literature or in teaching.
Conduct
We expect courtesy on both sides. We may end the relationship with a student who is abusive to a teacher; you may ask for a different teacher at any time.
Liability and law
We do our best to provide every scheduled lesson; where we cannot, your remedy is a rebooked lesson or no charge. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: info@learnalbanian.com.
